Flowers

There are over 1,500 species of wildflowers in Alaska. Over the years, plants have adapted to endure great winds and cool temperatures and often display flowers that bloom close to the ground or have special insulating qualities to protect them from the chill. Here's a sample of the flowers you can see on our glacier tours.
